Over a year ago, my daughter was accused of a big crime due to a temporary mental condition. My ex-wife acquired the services of a very expensive and prominent lawyer to help our daughter. This lawyer never actually appeared in court on our daughter’s behalf and would send his assistant in his place. At this point, I decided to take some action and started looking for a criminal lawyer to replace him in a hurried manner. I found Jeremy Karpel on the Internet. I found him to be a very knowledgeable and dependable lawyer. This case looked extremely difficult on paper, and it was very complicated since I was the victim trying to help my own daughter who had committed this act. Considering the state of the laws, it seemed impossible to have her committed to a mental care facility for treatment. The judge and DA presiding over the case had taken a very tough stance. In the best case scenario, it would have had her committed to a very tough facility, which would have resulted in total destruction of the rest of her young life. She had never committed a crime in her life. She is also a college graduate who is very kind and loved by many. And here is where Jeremy’s great knowledge and experience, as well as his persistence, convinced the court that my daughter‘s momentary lapse was due to a very particular circumstance that pushed her to a mental state where she wasn’t herself anymore. Thanks to Jeremy, the court decided to send my daughter to a good facility with good care for treatment and to help her recover her old self. The Karpel Law Group is amazing! Jeremy was recommended to me by a friend who used Jeremy to keep his 70+ year-old mother out of jail for an act she confessed to on videotape. Not only out of jail, but the case was dismissed. So, I called Jeremy when the City of Los Angeles brought criminal charges against me over a tool shed. Jeremy gave me a quote for my case. What we both thought was going to be a quick case turned out to be 5 years of appearances in criminal court because of the stupidity of the Department of Building and Safety. And after 5 years, Jeremy got the judge to agree that Building & Safety were wrong and got all charges dismissed. We never anticipated it was going to be a 5-year court battle. But Jeremy never even hinted there would be any additional charges. I doubt what he charged me even covered his parking and gas to go to court 15+ times. He was a man of his word, and once I signed on the dotted line retaining Karpel Law Group - they finished the task no matter what it took. If you are facing criminal charges and you think there is no hope, get Jeremy on your side and breathe a sigh of relief. The man works miracles. I've seen it happen twice now.
